I know circumstances change, but I was hired by SkyWest back in 2008 after my company went bankrupt, then ground school was cancelled (economy tanked), I was in the SkyWest pool for 2 years (did not hold a flying job - not current), then was offered a class date (not current). They didn't seem to be hung up about the currency thing. Worst case, go hop in a plane and play the currency game.
