I just spent a week of flying in and out of JFK. Its a piece of cake!! Do anything long enough and you can figure it out. Anyway pilots skills are highly over rated. Its not the pilots who make it happen, its the "gee whiz" software some French software writer put in the Airbus, that's where the
real value is.
As far as being profitable. They got a stake in the company, stock, they're shareholders, just like executive management. And if JB decides that fares to Florida need to be $29 each way, well....
