ASAs PBS is kick ass for vacation months, and no doubt works for them. The problem is our flying is much different and from what I have seen, won't be as good for the L-XJT guys as it currently is for the ASA guys. I know the ASA side doesn't trust or like Steve & his committee, but that doesn't mean they would lead our MEC in the wrong direction. Steve, Mike, & Bob are extremely well versed in every aspect of the PBS & scheduling world and have the XJT guys best interest at heart, no doubt about that, as does the ASA scheduling guys

Also ( Joe Merchant & CA Tony can attest to this) MGMT has said over and over and over and over they simply would not say yes to their current PBS system as it stands now. ( Vacation low, which gives ASA guys a TON of days off for vacation) is something the company clearly hates. So, you take the company not liking it as it currently stands and it not working with our flying..........you kind of come to a gridlock...
