To answer your question, yes. ALPA appears tired of negotiating. My opinion is that it is the s-UA ALPA that is tired of negotiating--with the s-CO ALPA.
It boils down to money and scope. s-UA ALPA thought it was good enough. All the rest would be too much effort to get from the s-CO side, and that it would put the money and scope in jeopardy. Oh, plus, if this contract isn't ratified by 12/15/12, some of the greybeards wouldn't get their retro/lump sum check before they get their obligatory gold pin and water cannon salute. So...work rules be damned. Same with those pesky 1999-2001 s-UA furloughees, with their seniority-grabbing mittens.*
