Jetblue just fired a pilot today because an FO claimed he dropped his laptop in the cockpit on purpose. They did not ask the Captain a single question about the incident. Not one! The simply called him and fired him on the word of another pilot. No due process, no hearing, no legal support, nothing.
The FO was pulled of line today, paid for 30 days and re-based in JFK for the immediate future.
