ALPA is a bit disingenuous in it's economic arguments when it has a long history of facilitating the outsourcing of jobs to lower paid carriers. This race to the bottom began when ALPA decided it would remove "alter ego" as a threat and instead try to leverage the replacement of our pilots.
That having been stated, Moak did a good job. I look forward to the day when ALPA leadership realizes that real UNITY is a stronger platform that politics, or a radio show. Branded flying should be performed by pilots on that brand's seniority list. By mergers, or extinction, the only way to have one standard is have one list under one contract. That's unity.
