All I said that started this again was I get tired of the alpa comment which someone made about what have you done for alpa as far as volunteering, yes I get tired of that comment as it has been used too long. I don't know many "line" pilots that don't get tired of that comment.

I too was unhappy with my representatives, that's how I became involved and ended up a long term ALPA volunteer. I learned to have a fairly thick skin, otherwise, it would have been impossible to do the work. The funny part of politics is that your enemy one day is your friend the next, depends on the issue. We will always accomplish more when we are unified, unfortunately when we air our dirty laundry on these forums it is to management's benefit.
