Plus by the time you realize it, you will have been here 5-10 years and missed your chance at a real major airline that has real defined attrition due to retirements (vs hoping for pilots just leaving jetblue)
JetBlue should ONLY be considered as a temp job on the way to getting hired at a real major airline. It is a place to get out of the Regionals and into the majors. If you need PIC time, don't go to JetBlue. If you want good protections/work rules/retirement/medical/CBA, don't go to JetBlue.

Guarantee this guy is a FLL CA who has what he wants and doesn't give a S&*% what's good for you. 90% of the BS you read on here is from 10% of the JBU guys and they are all from FLL. They are senior and couldn't get hired anywhere else in the early 2000's. Don't let some guy influence where you feel like working. He's like a broken record. You don't see this at any other airline (guys trying to repress each other). I have no idea what his agenda is. He's not trying to help you. Somebody is going to work here, why not promote the job with people who will help the cause. Only you can decide what's right for you and your family. It's a five yr. upgrade right now and will go lower as people decide to leave. So what? Where else are you going to get a quicker upgrade. No, it's not on the 320: But it's still an upgrade. If you're close to upgrade at a regional then stay there for a while. If you already have your time and cannot stand bankrupt pinnacle, etc, then come over here. It's certainly not going to hurt your career. I am 100% pro CBA, I don't care who our affiliation is. My belief is that when we vote in a CBA, this kind of cannibalization will dissappear. Lotta tough guys down in FLL.
