Surprise, late bid awards for ATL FOs - again.
An excerpt from a strongly-worded email from our valiant union today:
The Company has contacted Flightline to coordinate a resolution. At this time a delay is expected, however, it is dependent on Flightline correcting the software error within a reasonable period of time. It can be expected the awards for the ATL CR2 and CR7 First Officers will be a day late. LOA 11, Section 13.D.7 Bid Award Error provides the contract language to correct bid award errors that exceed 5% within a position.
Apparently Flightline was too busy working on a patch to prevent us seeing our schedules early (thanks, SureJet) that they weren't able to correct the ETB bug causing the bid award error. And ALPA doesn't seem to be too bothered by it.
