Bozo does lie. He stretches the truth quite a bit in his anti-xjt propoganda. A 30,000 block hour reduction becomes 50,000 block hour reduction or that we are furloughing or that we are somehow losing a 1/3 of our flying or the most recent is that they are parking 200+ of our airplanes. He is a guy that was right twice on here and he sees some benefit to fear mongering. He comes across as very naive because this is nothing new to the XJT side of the operation. It is pretty obvious to everyone that has been doing this for a few years that about every two years CAL/UAL reduces block hours and then adds them back if the economy picks up.
All he is doing is rah rah'ing the ASA side into thinking the xjt side is somehow the bad guy. The truth of the matter is that the two companies fates are already tied together. Both sides need each other to be successful companies and that isn't going to be changed by a naive online poster who is trying to scare the junior pilots.
