Don't worry you are doing quite a bit better than the 2001 hires. I have moved up 9.44% in the last decade and 1.6% since 2008. The 1999-2001 hire group (Depends on if you were DAL or NW) does not break into the top 50% of the seniority list until 2022 (21-23 years after being hired they can be Jr. narrow body Capt.) So, with only 586 retirements between now and 2017 you should expect continued stagnation.
586 are mandatory age 65 retirements in the next 4 years. So, you don't think ANY of the additional 2700 guys who will turn 60 between now and Dec-2016 will also retire, disable, or die?
