The 1999-2001 hire group (Depends on if you were DAL or NW) does not break into the top 50% of the seniority list until 2022 (21-23 years after being hired they can be Jr. narrow body Capt.) So, with only 586 retirements between now and 2017 you should expect continued stagnation.
