Just had a mid-trip DH go for 9 hours instead of the scheduled 4. The trip was several days ago and the 'actual' time has not been updated. I am new at this so wanted to ask if that requires a pay log?

Deadhead actual times are not usually updated. If the actual will affect your pay, you should contact control center scheduling to have them update the times on the pairing. It's helpful if you have the actual times when you make the call. (Remember, it's the times the pilots of Airline X reports as Out and In, not the times on your wristwatch -- consult the airline's website for the times they report as actual Departure/Arrival times.)
