We have that reputation because that was the
Encouraged corporate culture here for the first 25+ years of FDX flying. The expected "Measure of the Pilot" was over the marker at 250kts, drop everything and land. Tremendous energy and resources have been expended to change that culture, and change it has. I would like to think this incident was an anomalous oversight.
