Just had a mid-trip DH go for 9 hours instead of the scheduled 4. The trip was several days ago and the 'actual' time has not been updated. I am new at this so wanted to ask if that requires a pay log?

Actually, this is a good place to recommend to all that we keep our calendars accessible (by not locking them.) If you do this, and are not sure if you've earned extra pay on a trip, after trying to figure it out using the contract, you can call the union (contract enforcement) and ask them to review your pairing to see if you've earned additional pay. If you've got your calendar locked, they can't see it.
