Given all this information and reality of benefits/pay at Jetblue as compared to other carriers why are those of you in the pool still willing to accept a position?

Just curious.
US could be the golden ticket to anyone younger than 40 and willing to roll the dice with the AA/US merger. There would be tons of retirements at the combined company.

Im guessing many people come to JB who already have 1000PIC just so they can get some heavier jet time on the resume, and once the legacies like UAL/DAL/AA actually start off the street hiring they will be the first ones gone. FedEx is really a pipe dream unless you have several internal recs.

Jetblue serves as a stepping stone to differentiate yourself from the other thousands of RJ CAs when the hiring wave begins.
