I haven't heard yet how this will work. UAL announced they would begin recalls, and then retracted it, I'm guessing until the TA results are known.

As far as what would happen if the TA passed to the recalls, I don't know that has been settled yet. If it has, it hasn't been disseminated that I've seen. However, I don't think this will be a large an issue as you might think. If the rumors are true, then very soon you will see a 737 base opening in IAD and SFO. That means that there will be L-CAL bases in every one of United's hubs (except SEA, where with the exception of a few voluntary furloughs, no one could touch seniority wise anyway). Therefore, recalled furloughees would be working under the same rules/pay etc. that they would be working under at L-UAL, and have a chance to bid to any domicile their seniority can hold. The only thing they would be missing until the SLI would be the ability to fly the A320 as far as I can tell.
