Stay home with the kiddies and actually get to know your kid vs Dayton Ohio for 8 hr overnight with no food. All pilots at the regional level have put up with this nonsense long enough. I think if enough people are forced to look outside this industry they will find that there are better options out there.
Try it some time. Welcome out of your moms basement. My pal, a stock broker for over 12 years, applied as a pizza delivery guy, part time, no bennies. Was shot down because he didn't bring a resume. Hahaha. The manager had a stack of resumes for a part time job making $700 month.
I agree that we are not paid according to our risk/investment. I could go on about this for days. My point here is simple. If you think the company will survive if you take another concession then it's a much more difficult choice. If you think they are going to fold regardless, then it's a no brainier. This is really the ultimate question.
