If you wait to be recalled to the United side, then you will not lose longevity credit for the time you actually spent at United. I was hired at United in 2000 and spent 7.5 years on the property getting 8 year pay. Upon signing the agreement, I will get 5 year pay. Although the United MEC is claiming that we will all get credit for our time at UAL + CAL, no one can show me where this is written. The SPSC reps have told me that a CAL pilot hired the same day that I was, and also furloughed for a number of years, will get full longevity credit for his years on furlough upon signing.
