I've been on some six day trips where the pax slept on the plane on overnight legs, got up and were met on the ramp by local associates--all wearing business suits. galaxy I'm pretty sure two kings was being a bit sarcastic.... I also think your view on it is more typical of the heavy airplanes but I see a bit more even personal vs business travel ratio in the midsize/light market.

More importantly nothing will replace face to face time when it comes to large business deals or checking up on offices in multiple locations than being in the building. Private travel is the most efficient way for them to do that for a high power individual that doesn't have time to waste at TSA lines. Often times schedules change too much to accomodate 121 travel to arpts are often further away from metropolitan areas, equals more time lost in ground transport time.
