The pay parity was not in our hands. That was part of the joint collective bargaining agreement. You know, the one that USAPA is never going to get. You would have had pay parity 5 years ago but you voted in USAPA. Our MEC never had any power to grant you pay parity, that is the function of management and the union negotiating a contract. That's worked out so well for the East.
You chose to go down the DOH road with seniority, you pay the price with the lost wages that a JCBA would have given you. You insisted that you had Snapbacks in the face of your own negotiators testifying before the arbitrator that Snapbacks were never a part of LOA 93.
You have captured your attrition at the price of working for RJ wages. There will be a resolution brought up at the next BPR meeting to do away with the USAPA constitutional mandate for date of hire. Will you and your friends support that resolution? Because if you don't, then the stalemate will continue indefinitely.
