Go ahead and gloat on how you have fkkedus, get it straight though, you are directly responsible for no leverage and no contract, you own that and you will pay for that sooner or later. The west might never collect as I have come to realize that karma along with all that is right in this world have abandoned us, but have no doubt the apa will collect when you walk into a seniority integration with $124 an hour airbrus captain vs. fo's making more than you, hold on eastie.
Ps. How dare you speak of our furloughed pilots when you directly caused their job loss? Ask any west furloughed what he thinks of the east pilots, not pretty.
Volunteer? Really? Did AWA pilots volunteer to be the lowest paid for all those years? We have a contract, that's how it works.
You are correct though, the east is responsible for not getting a contract. The T/A allows it as you always conveniently forget to mention(From the T/A:II. Period of Separate Operations
A. The pilot workforces of America West and US Airways will remain separate and
covered by their respective collective bargaining agreements (the “Separate
Operations”) until Operational Pilot Integration as provided in Section VI. A."
Just like our F/As, the majority of pilots have decided that the COST of a new contract is not worth the benefit. I've disagreed with the method, but not the outcome because I wouldn't have voted for a Nic inclusive contract, at least not one that this company would come up with.
I didn't cause any pilot's job loss. The recession of 2008, fuel prices and the weak PHX/LAS markets did. I've flown with one of them that came east and I do feel for them, so don't tell me what I should or shouldn't say.
