USMCFDX, to say that someone who doesn't work at a company can in no way know of any details as to that company's operations is pretty foolish. I also know several business travelling types in Memphis and they are all saying the same thing Mooney said. That they are unhappy with DL and it is hurting their bottom line. You must live in a pretty insulated cocoon to think otherwise. I'm betting you don't work for our Federal Government but you know that's going on there, right? Oh probably not since according to your logic if you don't work there, you have no clue what is going on anywhere.

Congressman calls for federal investigation on Delta Airlines in Memphis
(WMC-TV) - Memphis Congressman Steve Cohen is calling for a federal investigation into unfair practices by Delta Airlines in Memphis - as an edgy ad campaign hits the Internet. The ad campaign takes flight as everyday people and business travelers alike take stock of the hurting Delta's putting on their wallet. "Companies used to care about the cities they served. Delta doesn't care about Memphis," said Congressman Steve Cohen. Cohen said the RunwayRobbery ads shows Memphis' frustration with rising prices and fewer flights, after Delta took over Northwest Airlines. He said the Airport Authority needs to get its priorities straight. "Delta is not a Memphian. Delta's a customer," said Cohen.

Now everyone be sure to ask me rhetorical questions about topics I didn't even mention such as "why do I think Delta should hurt their bottom line to help them?" etc....
