We could vote to elect Jesus Christ (the copilot)as president and the Queen of England could knight USAPA's officers and Parker WILL NEVER NEGOTIATE. Parker knows what works for him- merge with American and negotiate with APA. IF the merger somehow produces more rancor among the pilots- even better. If there is no merger he will not negotiate, of course, because he will not be able to afford new contracts and industry wages- because there wasn't a merger. What works for other management teams will not work for Parker and his cronies. They have completely dehumanized the pilots- Pilots are mere pawns in their rich boy games. We can bluster about what each side should and should not do- who is a fault. It will not make one bit of difference. And I am not convinced that the NMB will do anything substantive about it.
