Today I attempted to use the KCM entry point in ATL. I was in uniform, with ID and was going to jumpseat on DL to MEM. The TSA agent asked me if i was "operating" a flight out of ATL. I told him I was jumpseating on DL and would be operating a FedEx flight out of MEM. He denied me access through the KCM entry. He and his supervisor said I had to be "operating" a flight out of ATL to use the entry.

That didn't sound right to me but I thought I'd throw the question out here to see if others have had the same experience. I called the ALPA office in MEM and they said, "call National." Too late today for that...
