Money isn't everything. I have lots of friends who went to DAL, and have been there 5-7 years. They whine constantly about their schedules (reserve), and the only ones holding ATL are on the -88, the most miserable of all. Everyone I know on the 75/6 or Bus is NYC or DTW. I have a cousin who was NWA, and has 16 years in. He is DTW FO reserve on the 330. Reserve. 16 years. So some people prefer QOL to money. Just saying.
Tell that to the lifers at Pinnacle that are about to be put on the street. Or Comair guys. Qol is all great and dandy when your regional is growing. But it ain't gonna last. Look at what's happening. The regional model is rightsizing itself. Don't worry, those at Skywest and Expressjet will feel the same effects. Maybe not now but you will. Have the opportunity to bail, bail.
