What you're describing isn't going to happen overnight. They aren't going to start hiring no PIC until the supply of PICs is exhausted. So anyone who chose to stay by that point made their own bed. We're talking 10 years away.
that seems a bit far down the line.. it may happen sooner than you think.. Airways and Delta already have there 'Minimums' posted without a PIC requirement. Buddy up with a Chief Pilot, or the right person's secretary or assistant.. and you're in like a thong in oprah's rear
