I've heard that they have a stack of resumes from former IDE pilots (mostly FOs that went to other regionals). I imagine that a lot of those guys/gals will be some of the first rounds of calls since just about everybody at Compass is former Independence.

I'd say that right now, competitive mins are probably 2500-3000TT, 1000ME, 500 PIC (preferably turbine). The higher mins are being driven by the need to hire people that have the time/experience necessary to successfully upgrade in a very short time frame. (But those numbers are total shots in the dark).

Haven't been able to confirm it, but I have heard that they may be planning to type rate the first classes new hires from day one so that they can do IOE, get some experience in type, and then take a short course checkride for PIC signoffs/dual qualifications. All second hand knowledge, but it would make sense for the first 3-6+ months of deliveries.
