You do realize that seats can be moved after you get out of them?
It's expected to move your seat full forward on the Airbus copilot side so you can get your overnight bag into position.
It was the same on the 737 when we used to carry flight kits- it was much nicer to be able to walk in and toss your flight kit into position with the seat full forward.
The 757/767 had enough room where it didn't really matter where the seat was left.
...and if you get upset on where the rudder pedals are left, you obviously either are wound too tight or lead a very stress free life otherwise!
