In fact, the only real single and unique attribute I've noticed about DAL pilots compared to every other airline is that they somehow believe they are God's gift to the flight deck. If I were you, and I really feel that way about my passengers, I would stand outside of an airport with a big sign telling them about the loose cannons who are about to fly them to DAL's hub. And how DAL sales tickets to passengers who will fly on airlines that say Delta, but the pilots aren't.
There are a couple guys that are strange on each fleet, out of 12000 pilots... after 6 years I can count on one hand guys I wouldn't be upset if I didn't fly with them again. At 9E... well, you know. You're there.
As far as the Gods gift to the cockpit, whatever. I dont see that at all. Almost everyone just comes to work, tries to have a good time and do their job right.
