PS: a buddy of mine thats just getting onto IOE there told me the captain mins had dropped to 1500 TT, but that sounded a bit fishy to me. I saw the hard 3,000 TT in an earlier post. Clarification??
As for the low time FO's well I don't think I'm accident bound....in fact safety control and command are the biggest things on my mind up there.... but one of the rumors is we hired someone not too long ago out of a 141 academy with 170 TT. Ink was still wet on his temp. commercial cert. Put bluntly the idea of showing up and finding that guy in my right seat SCARES ME SH!TLESS.... The CRJ was never designed or certified as a single pilot airplane... but by providing me with a No time FO who has no judgement.. no situational awareness.... no experience... and probably doesnt read his or her FOM or know his or her regs. from his or her A$$ and is basically a detrement or at best dead weight to me.... is effectively forcing me to operate the CRJ as a single pilot airplane. No I am not happy about this and I wish more experienced pilots would apply.

As for the upgrade mins no they have not been dropped and odds are they never will be....... or so I hope......
