You have until 30 min after the blockin of the trip you are on that caused the conflict to decide if you want the credit for the lost trip or the overage for the trip you are on that was extended. Do the math and decide which pays more. If you elect to take the overage than the credit for the trip you lost will go into your makeup bank. Be sure to tell scheduling that you want the conflicted trip dropped without credit for sub. This will trigger the overage credit for your extended trip. Hope this is clear.
