Agree. At time of merger UAL had 72 aircraft that were 747s or 777s and CAL had 22 777s. CAL had a ton of guppys, and I don't know exactly exactly because I can't count that high. UAL had 50 wb on order (A350 and 787) and CAL had 25 (787). Those will be taken into account as well I'm sure, and they are all good for all of us, regardless of which side, because we will all be able to fly them and most importantly get paid them at some point in our careers.

The DAL/NWA merger they looked at the ratio of widebody to narrowbody for each airline, and did the list that way.

UAL has a higher percentage of widebody, and CAL is mostly guppys. So they will look at that and longevity and career expectations and current seat, etc and go from there.

We will all find out in June probably, but I'm not worried either way because I think reasonable people are going to be doing this and whatever they come up with will have so much scrutiny and analysis that it will be fine.
