I interviewed last July and did not hear anything for 3 weeks. In response to my followup query I received an email that said "After careful consideration, we have decided to invite you back for another interview in 6 months."

Is that a normal rejection response? They did not ask me to re-apply - just invited me to another interview.

My sources say that it was more likely an internal paperwork problem.

For those that are waiting for an interview call, I got an email yesterday that said "We will not be doing interviews in January, but will start up again in February. Please contact me around the second week of January and I should have my schedule by then so we can set you up."
