Sure, but it'd be pretty hard after dealing with 1st year pay to intentionally go from 36.6 to 28.xx once 2nd year pay comes around. But if you want to, there's no reason you couldn't.
If they don't give you a Bro class, just take the jet class if you get it, and upgrade to the Bro when your # comes up in a few years. This way you never take a "paycut" and you get what you're looking for..
