95 pre-merger 9E pilots move from their temporary home in the 200 back to the 900. 16 900's leave before the new ones come back. Some will "ratio" over but most will go to 200. Once both Xj and 9E are up to ratio, senior Colgan guys will move over to make up 405 total. In the mean time FO's are shuttling back and forth between 200 and 900 [and from turboprops (actually ass sitting now)] 200 FO's hit the bricks. Training cost go even further up the wazoo. Don't count on those 40 until they are on the ramp and the door closes on the first flight.
Alternative is a "wind down." Year or 18 months for the "vultures" to grab the flying. In the mean time most of the above happens anyway. A "yes" vote will entitile Delta to beat everyone else about the head and shoulders during their section 6 rates and in the meantime reimburse ALL DCI's less because the average is now lower. A "NO" vote sacrifices PNCL pilots for the "common good." Nice choice.
