I do happen to know some people so I get some left seat king air time here and there and even that I don't feel is as helpful as the instructing I've done. (turbine time is nice but I don't really learn anything)
Some places will look at you funny if you show up at an interview with King Air time in your logbook and are not flying them full time or haven't been through a training program.
