80 - I agree with you. One of my concern is those at the top of the list at Pinnacle who are not motivated enough to put the effort into applying and getting hired at Delta. Most of those folks at the top have had a few chances to get hired at Delta (or UAL, CAL, UPS, Fedex, SW) in the past 5 years and have passed it up (or been passed over). I would really not like to have unmotivated new hires here at Delta.
Sure - the hiring process was tough here (and at pmNW) - detailed application, attention to details, CBT tests, interview, MMPI, and yes, the psych interview. But - that's what has separated the people who are too lazy to apply from those who want to work for a great airline.
I don't want them to get to Delta just because they waited around long enough and no one else wanted them.
