So lets say you do everything right and are fortunate enough to be brought on as a new hire before the ISL is complete. Is there going to be some stigma hanging over street hires for being on property before the L-UAL furloughees? It's been made clear through the application process that if hired, you're junior to everyone and will probably be on the bottom for a while.
Not trying to put the cart in front of the horse, but I'm curious what kind of work environment prospective new hires can look forward to. I get that relations with management aren't so great, but it'd be nice to avoid shifty glances from fellow pilots.
The only looks you're likely to get are those of sympathy. A UAL new hire would be permanently stuck on the bottom of any seniority list until all furloughees have been recalled. Even after that furloughees that bypassed until a much later date may show up much senior to you. Can't imagine why anybody would harbor animosity towards a new hire.
