Tis pity, tis true... tis true tis pity... some rug rates never grow up, nor able to see the big picture.

Don't see what the big deal is either. If one needs to get home, and an employee, who goes through the same background checks, and security screening need not be denied either jump seat.

All crewmembers are trained to handle emergency situations. As with Maintenance crews who jump seat, cabin crew would be briefed on cockpit etiquette, use of shoulder harnesses and head sets, sterile cockpit, and egress in the event of an emergency.
