There is a little something called a business plan...we seem to have one that works (for now). So, please keep your sights on the big picture, and don't get caught in the short term issues like training pay, and yes, even first year pay.
I am fully aware that the situation has real consequences but getting on at a company that has a viable business and one that has a future (at least short to medium term!!) is the key factor in determining the value of a job.
