Why? Because to me its the better deal out of two crappy deals. If I am going to be furloughed I would rather have the bonus and furlough package than get furloughed with nothing. At least under the TA I will receive a bonus, plus up to 3 months of pay (3 months if furloughed in 2013, 1 month if furloughed in 2014) and health insurance, and 2 years of Delta pass benefits.
You are mistaken about
your bonus. The paycut
you take will be greater than bonus that
you receive. Don't be gullible. This contract caters to the super senior and that is all. The only thing that
you will get is worthless flight bennies. Is it that easy to trick
you?
