That only works because the bully ends up at least a little bit bloodied in the process, as well. In this case, fighting back doesn't bloody Delta's nose at all. I doubt they care one way or the other. Because no matter what, they're getting their cost reduction. It's just a matter of how.
Maybe they don't get bloodied, but at least we make them work a little harder to get the savings from pilots.
If pilots continue to give in, maybe one day we'll be paid in company scrip.
