Honest question: Why do people keep saying that Delta will get their feed costs cut either way Pinnacle pilots vote? If Pinnacle pilots vote "No" and the company shutsdown, doesn't that diminish Delta's ability to whipsaw? I haven't heard anything about Delta using Comair's costs to try to drive down the costs of other carriers. Once a carrier no longer provides feed for a certain price, that price becomes irrelevant in future negotiations. I don't work at 9E and would never try to tell someone there how to vote (not that a random opinion on a message board would sway a reasonable person's vote anyway), but I don't see how a "No" vote could be seen as having the same long term effect on the industry as a "Yes" vote.
