I would say that if you applied and didn't get a response, apply again. That is what happened to me and they called me two days after I applied the second time.
There are some guys here with some really low time. I know of a really low time guy that was hired (about 400 hours) but he bought a 1900 type to get the interview. I have lower than their posted mins, but I knew two people that were in class at the time of my interview. Don't know if that helped a lot or not. Most of the FO new hires have more than the posted mins.
Ground school isn't bad. Big Sky is in a period of fast growth and it shows in a few different ways. IOE seems to be taking longer than expected for the class in front of me, partly because of a lack of planes and check airmen. The instruction is good, but it seems that the instructors are under a bit of pressure. They know that they will be teaching ground school nonstop for the next few months because one starts right when the other is over. The company seems good from what I know about it. There is a new contract in the mix and it looks like they will be more commuter friendly.
