A simple fact of life is that if you want to work for Atlas you need to use a Windows machine. The Atlas IT department is stretched, and they put zero effort into validating their systems with anything other than Windows and IE. Zero is also the amount of support they provide for non Windows/IE users and zero is the amount of sympathy people get when they run into problems (and they do run into problems).
For example, several months ago some of the guys got a nasty surprise when their monthly bid award did not look anything like what they had bid. It turned out that the line numbers had not been correctly displayed on iPads. And the company response was as described above.
And for the record, I carry an iPad. I also carry a cheap Windows laptop for company work.
I own several Apple products, and do ALL my company related work on either my iPad or MacBook, and never had an issue. Guess I'm just lucky, but no real issues here.
