Not necessarily. I don't blame a single pilot from any carrier that flies routes formerly flown by another regional. That's a big problem, but it's all management's fault. Say you are a DTW based CRJ-200 ASA FO, live in base and DL shuffles that flying to the New Eagle who flies the EMB-145 on the same routes. You then have to commute to ATL and while you listen to Eaglets say that DL was going to shutter the ASA DTW base anyway and displace. It's a whole different story then.
This right here is the number one problem amongst pilots in my eyes. It's also one of the major reasons the XJet and ASA pilot groups may never jointly create a collective bargaining agreement. At least not on their own terms.
No one wants to take a moment and walk in someone else's shoes. "It's all about me" seems to be a common view these days. I always tell guys to think about what they are doing before they do it. You'd be really surprised at what kind of effect you have on other people. And it's not always good.
