The truth is that it is much easier to whine and complain about not getting hired due to discrimination than it is to look at one's weaknesses (e.g. bad resume, cover letter, poor punctuation/grammar, etc). If I were in a hiring board looking at cover letters and encountered some of the same crap I see in these boards, I wouldn't hesitate to dump them in the trash.
