You are getting the MEC mixed up with the pilots who post on these forums. All along your guys have never been interested in compromise. They have been negotiating in bad faith. Management is now punishing you guys AGAIN! Remember? You kept telling us how you've seen this before and soon enough we outdo find out that we shouldn't mess with Jerry? All along its been your guys making the same mistakes they made in the last contract negotiations. This is ALL your guys' doing. You made your bed so now sleep in it.
Correct, last time we made a militant stance 17 900s to we're supposed to go to ASA headed to SKYW. Some say the 900s were going to go anyway but I don't buy that. I'd let management fool me at least once before becoming militant.
The more I hear L-XJT's story the more they make sense to me. The entire L-ASA employee group is probably being misled by this nasty rumor that Jerry is going to drop the hammer on XJT. Even I fell for it. We need to drop this arrogant "we bought them" "get on board" attitude real quick or it might backfire badly.
I know at least one of our newly elected reps is about compromise. It's time for us L-ASA line pilots to start making some calls to the LEC.
