I believe the choice was to have two stars or close to ten: Texas International, New York Air, People Express, Frontier, and that doesn't include pilots who came our way through commuter acquisitions and flow-through agreements.
Two stars will do just fine. It was a merger of equals, despite the sentiments of a few.
