Cacti, I know you love you victim status, but there was no way that in the Spring of 2007, with the Nicolau award fresh and the Kirby insult just delivered that a joint contract would have passed. NONE.
Like I told you I think pulling out was a mistake. Heck, I wish we had put the Nic inclusive Kirby out for a vote, that's how confident I am. But in the end it made no difference.
The transition agreement allowed this mess, no matter what the method. The west didn't have issues with dual ratification then because you guys thought YOU would come out on the short end of the stick and would have to use it to delay a implementation of a joint sli until the attrition kicked in.
